Gas Booster Systems

Action Blower & Equipment Gas Booster Systems provide a complete turnkey solution for applications in which the available gas pressure is not adequate to meet the required demand.

Our Gas Booster Systems utilize a gas tight blower driven by an inverter duty electric motor. The systems use a pressure indicator to sense the gas pressure being delivered. Based on the sensed pressure, a variable frequency drive adjusts the speed of the motor to deliver the required amount of gas.

Our gas boosters are available with 3 different types of blowers:

  • The GT1400 – single stage centrifugal, low pressure (up to 12.6” WC boost), UL listed
  • Regenerative – (model RGB) medium pressure
  • Positive displacement – (model PDGB) medium/high pressure

The principle of operation is the same for all types of blower systems.

Standard systems are available in pipe sizes ranging from 1-1/2" to 6"
Motor sizes range from 1 HP to 40 HP
